Memories of you are still just as vivid
Makes me wonder if the civil war was just yesterday
But of course, so long the past is concerned
There is no end .
End to this subtle torture
Hanging like a heavy cloud over my head
Consistently reminding me of your mighty deeds
Your pronounced love for us
How unfair can life be ?
Rivers fall down my eyes
Some nights I cry a sea
Recall that I was there to see
See your innocent blood mix with sand
You and your men weren't soldiers
You were predecessors and Fathers
You were heros and kings
But nothing hurts more than to witness your seeds
Disregard your priceless sacrifice.
