Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) is technology having expression in our different organisms?

This process requires introducing a new gene into an organism, say, a crop using various biological techniques. The primary goal of this practice is to ensure their resistance to pests, diseases, and environmental stresses and to improve their nutritional content. 

There have been ongoing critical outcries regarding the adoption of genetically modified (GM) crops and their health hazards in Africa, particularly in Nigeria. Citizens in the country have frequently expressed their anger over what they perceive as a breach of responsibility by the National Biosafety Management Agency (NBMA). They claim that NBMA, a body established to regulate GMOs, has now turned into the promoter of the practice, which they are not comfortable with. 

One of the anger is centered on the inauthenticity of most of the modified crops that are often produced. For instance, Golden Rice was modified as a solution for vitamin A deficiency in the Third World, but to date, it appears to be a "golden hoax."

There can be solutions to the health hazards associated with GMOs that do not necessitate its elimination. Here are some proposed measures: 

1. There should be a strong collaboration with science and technology.

2. All research should be conducted thoroughly before final approval by the responsible governing body.

3. There should be transparency in all research conducted to enable people to make informed choices about the food they consume.
