    ( Aaah NEPA !!! We were all jubilating . In fact , no Christmas and New year celebration had ever felt as good as this one . Finally it was noon of the New year 2025 in Peds home . They were about to start eating only for the power supply to show love . The uproar of celebration was turmulous) .    Ped : Yes oo ... Everywhere don set . Who born dem oo ( he looks really excited bouncing on one of the couch )    Ped's Dad : if I get you there eeh ! You won't like how you'll start did New year.     ( With a little shiver Ped immediately jumps off the couch )    Ped's Big bro : Guyyyy , mum said she has a big surprise for us oo . Behave well oo , make you no miss your own . You hear ?    Ped's Mom : Ped !! (She calls from the kitchen) You and your brother should set the table . So I can serve the meal .   Ped : Mom we've done it already.    Ped's Mom : Alright .    ( The table is set , everyone is sitted  . Mama Ped is seen coming with the dishes )    Ped : Aaaaah !! We decided there will be one chicken for everyone.    Ped : ( with so much Joy Ped lifted up the mighty fried chicken on his plate to his mouth to devour .               Most times my dry broken lips would bleed profusely, other times the sores in my nose would bleed too .  Nevertheless, I loved all that pain so much ! Not until the tables turned ... More than anything in the world harmattan used to be my best season. As a seasoned Tom boy from age 5 , I managed to look past the countless injuries I sustained from my incessant field duel with boys . Fixing my gaze on my childhood trivia in their order as I , Christiana grew into them over the years . The finger licking Christmas, to the euphoric glamour of my birthday on that same day to the trilling excitement of the New year .     The Christmas clothes and shoes dad and mum always got I and my siblings without questions were one of our highlights. Even though they never fit . I still loved the life out of it all anyway .    Life was simple until the tables turned my little frame into this curvy bodied 25 year old adult . While strange men gawking at me increased in numbers everyday . The economy gradually became T-pain In the ass , it didn't help the pressing urge in me to get my parents Christmas presents brewed everyday like steam.    Like it couldn't get worse , I met him one chilly harmattan evening. He only came down my area to work for a week during the season . So like a love-sick young fool in denial.    I watched myself begin to care about how girly I looked . I went from my common routine to making my 'wait' for him the thing .  So once again this dusty evening, I've come to wait , however long it takes at the high way for his break light ...
