TO LIVE IS TO LOVE ✨🌹
A poem based on the theme "TO LIVE IS TO LOVE" IN DIFFERENT FORMS : LYRICAL  NARRATIVE  DRAMATIC............   1. LYRICAL POEM   Title: "The Pulse of Love"   To live is to love, to breathe in the light, To chase every dawn and cradle the night. Love is the fire that softens the stone, The heartbeat that sings when we’re all alone.   It lives in a smile, a whisper, a glance, In hands that reach out and dare to dance. It’s finding the sun in the depths of the rain, And holding on gently through joy and pain.   To live is to love, with a soul unafraid, To offer the self and not feel betrayed. For love is the meaning, the rhythm, the song— To live is to love... and to love is lifelong.     ---   2. NARRATIVE POEM   Title: "The Fisherman’s Promise"   There once was a man by the silver sea, Who cast his nets wide, wild, and free. He lived alone, but his heart still burned For a love long lost, for a soul he'd yearned.   Each morning he'd whisper her name to the tide, And hope she'd return with the waves at his side. For years he waited, his beard turned gray, But his love never faltered, nor drifted away.   One stormy dusk, a ship broke near, A young girl wept, filled with fear. He took her in, gave her shelter and fire, And felt his old heart rise higher and higher.   "Why do you care?" she asked one night. He smiled and said, "To love is to light. To live is to give, though I’ve lost so much, Love doesn’t die—it lives in the touch."     ---   3. DRAMATIC POEM   Title: "In the Court of Hearts" (A two-character monologue dialogue)   (Scene: A bare stage, with two figures: LIFE and LOVE.)   LIFE: Why do they chase you, cling to you so? They forsake me—run where you go.   LOVE: Because I am the reason they wake and strive, Without me, you’re merely a breath—not alive.   LIFE: But I feed them, raise them from dust to sky! I give them years—yet they still cry.   LOVE: It’s not your years they count, dear friend, But the hearts they touch before the end.   LIFE: Then what am I, if not their prize?   LOVE: You are the vessel—I am the rise. Together we dance, but I lead the way— To live is to love, or else they decay.   (Lights dim as they walk off, hand in hand)

My WRITING JOURNEY ✍️✍️
✍️ My Writing Journey: Roadmap to becoming a better and successful writer..   πŸ“… When: I started writing seriously while I was in secondary school SS1, when I realized I had a lot to express that I couldn’t say out loud. I plan to keep writing for the rest of my life, growing through each phase—whether it's journaling, fiction, or poetry. I loved reading stories both fictional stories alot  I wrote one while I was in SS2  Didn't know anything about how to publish it cause I didn't even have a phone at that time so I didn't actually have knowledge of writing websites ,apps and the rest🀭 πŸ’‘ Why: I write because it's how I process my emotions, connect with others, and create meaning from chaos. Writing helps me breathe, dream, and reflect. It’s also a safe space for me to be myself without judgment.   🎯 Which: What truly pushed me into writing was a mix of personal emotions—loneliness, curiosity, imagination—and life events where I didn’t feel heard. Reading stories that mirrored my own pain and strength made me want to write mine too.   πŸ“š What: I want to focus on fiction and reflective storytelling. I love crafting narratives that feel emotionally real, with flawed characters and subtle lessons.  I also want to explore and have experience on ghost writing, blog writing and also technical writing    πŸ‘€ Who: I was inspired by writers like Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Ocean Vuong, whose words felt raw and powerful. Also, a teacher once told me, “Your words have weight”—that has stuck with me ever since.   πŸš€ How: To reach my goals as a writer, I plan to:   Write consistently (even on the bad days)   Read widely and deeply   Share my work with others (online & offline)   Accept feedback and improve   Join writing communities   Eventually publish a book or blog series that matters
